Just give the lad 140k a week and when he signs sell him on next year, it is really not hard at all. Some idiots work for Everton.

Stamped his feet VERY loudly after last summer and it seemed to have an effect. I think he needs reining in, but the problem is we have a weak officer corp at the club and an owner who looks at the money being spent as just cash derived from player sales and shrugs and leaves him to it.

For me you need some quality control there that only a proper DoF (not a glorified scout who is a yes man) can exert.
Im not surprised he did, last summer's transfer window was a disaster. Any manager worth his salt, would have felt aggrieved by it.

Why would that be seen as something to 'get bites'?

Seems to me you spend most of your time on here following me around "wumming" me.

Just sayin'...

No wumming from my end sir.

I don't follow you around, you just happen to involve yourself in the majority of threads I take interest in

Well, if you set EVERYTHING by statistics, then you're fine in your ivory tower...

But there is more to football than bald statistics.

If we worked on statistics only, all of the time, then Leicester City would not have had a sniff of the Prem title, given how little, in %age terms, they had of the ball in games...

Take the blinkers off, dave, look beyond the statistics, and recognise the inconsistency and lack of application in the lad.

I do believe YOU need to have a word with yourself...
This manager stated that he'd improved dramatically last season. If he can say that then maybe you can see it too?

..but now he's been left to get on signing without any conditions placed on valuations and what it does to the club's finances. That is not the right way for a club that primarily still sell to buy to be operating.

Be under no illusions, replacing Lukaku and Barkley is a massive task. Koeman is changing the way the team will play as a result, but their loss will be massive. Barkley has his faults, no doubt, but he also has skills. Him leaving will be wrong for both parties. He will never make a deep holding midfielder at the spuds.

We still have a negative net spend this window as it stands.

Honestly not even arsed he is leaving. Let him make the mistake of either going to a worse club than us or sitting on the bench for a team above us. Clearly more bothered about money and hardly a massive blue considering we offered a great wage and the club is on the up. Good riddance if you ask me.

Unless Everton suddenly move away from Merseyside, money ain't gonna make him stay (if the rumours are true). The rumours seem pretty plausible though considering his penchant for goosing the wrong birds.

How can they sell him on next year? We haven't been able to shift him now when his value is low, if no one wants him there is a reason why
Don't kid yourself that no one wants him, they just don't want to pay the cash when they can have him for free next season. Barkley is a huge traitor and I will not wish him well if he goes for cheap.

Chop his todger off, that will fix it. Seriously now, I'm not having this gangster crap, I'm sure if that was the case the club would know a few nastier men that would take care of it.
