So we are currently battling through the year this 1995 cyberpunk effort is set in, and unless I'm mistaken its still the only big screen William Gibson adaptation.
I remember seeing it at the flicks back then and thinking "christ...what a stinker".
It still is to be honest but I had bit more fun this time around. Reeves is usual cardboard self, Dolph Lungdren is bonkers as a hippy, bible bashing assassin, Ice T is Ice T. Curly topped ginger hottie Dina Meyer was quite good as a version of Molly Millions, as is Henry Rollins.
Very much a film of its time, and hard to imagine The Matrix was only a few years away. Decent giggle on a Friday night with a few cans.
Prime.
