Watched deliverence for the first time ever at the age of 34. What a film, that's all I can really say. Burt Reynolds is one cool cat, if you've never seen this watch it 8.9. The only films I have in the nines are jaws, Goodfellas and the exorcist, this almost came close to breaking a 9. Brilliant

See if you can find a film called Southern Comfort, it has a few similarities

One of those films, that`s in every way as good as the book.

Burt Reynolds quite rightly deserved the Oscar he got for his performance.

It`s one of those films that you can watch time and time again.

I`d put The Deer Hunter, The Shining, One Flew Over the Cuckoo`s Nest, Midnight Cowboy and Midnight Express in with those films you mention.

In my opinion the best films were all made in the 1970s. I recently watched Assault on Precinct 13 from 1976, so tense and a brilliant soundtrack.

Sully with Tom Hanks last night.
Nothing special save for the appearance of two ladies prominent in Breaking Bad, Skyler. Then from Ozark, Marty Bird's missus.
The film itself depicting the pilot who landed his jet airliner in the Hudson River when engines failed.
