Yet to meet a person who didn't enjoy it.Not much on tv this evening, as in, sweet bugger all, and I'll be damned if I watch 'MI:II', finally got hold of 'prey' 2021, might give that a spin.

Loved Indi but that 3rd act plus that Fleabag woman just stunk it out.
Never should have touch it after Last Crusade and this shot

This from the chap that has backed the carey cheating, and spouting off how it'll be forgotten with hindsight. Bled into the film thread, I say I say I call foul sir.I also think we have reached a point of saturation where people will just critisize anything that doesn’t fit in with how they think it should have been done, and in hindsight and time it wont be nearly as bad as people think.

I can't not admire a Chase reference, bravo sir, to a happier time.Good Lord Poon. Or should I say LAMPOON and one at which Sir Chevy himself would applaud.
He learned for MatildaWho knew Jean Reno was so good a helicopter pilot as well...

She just takes over the film and it's not about her plus the big bad is terrible just doesn't do anything.I heard those critisisms, and you’re right about the ending.. but honestly I was absolutely knocked out by the scope of some of the scenes. The parade.. incredible, some of the cinematography is just insane. Bad guys really needed more depth but I liked the girl, I thought she was fine. She’s not stunningly beautiful so has an uphill battle from the start. Needed more time in that last act, and I could watch a whole movie with young Harrison. Voice is old though which made me laugh.

Just seen this in funny stuff thread9pm tonight, itv4
TBF it deserves it's own film.Just seen this in funny stuff thread
So, the frankly ludicrous MI:II was on last night (easily the sloppiest of the lot, but not by tons) and so tonight's episode - as night follows day is MI:3 with the oft missed Seymour Hoffman, this exhibit is just nuts as well, I get the impression Cruise fancied the bond role and got knocked back but had the star power to run with this American version. Will we be on for a write up @BlueStevie35 ? The impossibles for me get better from here, for me at least, to much head swapping but once they'd got to grips with the budget, they spent it.Watched the first Mission Impossible for the first time last night as Film4 are showing all of the series during the week in prep for the newest one
Don’t know how I’ve not bothered with them before, great popcorn flick and Cruise is a nutter for some of the stunts he does, particularly the one with the helicopter blade near the end
