One of the best films ever.

The new Hobbit.

Get the feeling it's a bit self indulgent on Jackson's part but the effects and set designs are brilliant, magnified by a massive scale.

They did deviate from the book (much like the other films) a lot, but I don't mind that really. All in all a great film IMO.

I love seeing old movies on the big screen. Back To The Future was the best one I've seen. And The Warriors.
