no pooping here, kidda...i love me a bit of film debate...lots of different tastes and interpretations about.

aye...Helen Mirren was fit-as-fook in it...if you like your girls to be dark witches, that is. Aside from Ms Mirren, the other 5 leads are now RIP (Arthur, Merlin, Guinevere, Lancelot, Mordred). Worth a rewatch just to pay homage, I reckon.

they wouldn't get it right...everything's very formulaic these days, with very clean-looking actors and only pretend-darkness (at least in the 'blockbuster' movies).

Definitely, the whole idea is straight out the 80's, reminded me of Warriors.

just watched 'grizzly man' on netflix.

Documentary about a guy who films out in the wild with bears for 6 months, who wasn't properly trained and just about his life and death.

Very, very good.

Finished 'FRANK' with Michael Fassbender today, watched the first 40 mins before on someones recommendations. Just didn't go anywhere, gave up basically just took a notion to finish it today. All of a sudden, really enjoyed it. Just got funnier and a bit of a story started.

Not knowing what's going on is what makes the movie so thrilling...hugely recommended if you haven't seen it. If you have then cherish the memory rather than seek a rewatch.

Love that film. Also rewatched it not long ago. I guess it does lose some of the effectiveness, any film with a twist does, but still a great watch , especially for those who haven't seen it before.

Jurassic world.

First 30-40 minutes sheer crap, as soon as the big dinosaur breaks out it becomes something approaching watchable. Story lines in it are weak though, very predictable and bit cheesy, so many of the characters got on my swede, special mention to the ginger bird and the youngest kid, annoying knobheads.

Positives, chris pratt is dreamy, visually quite impressive, and that new merc jeep is sick, on the want list.


6.5 out of 10 Probably never watch it again but it was ok
