Last Film You Watched

Hyena road, war film based in the middle east, yet another movie that had a lot of potential but just didn't live up to what it should have been, I'm finding that quite a lot lately

Every now and then a film comes along that genuinely moves you.

Ladies and gents, I present: Spotlight.

Just been to see it and it's outstanding. Really outstanding.

I don't care if anyone else has seen it and shoots me down in flames. For me, it ticked every box: great story (well, highly disturbing and very sobering), well paced and some great performances. The true story is (was) a brave piece of media in itself, but this film is still brave in putting it into the big screen.

Go and watch it. It's definitely worth the effort.

(The evening was promptly made even better when I walked out and my mate told me the sh1t3 lost at Leicester!)

Fantastically honest and open post... I take my hat off to you. It's not often I read somebody express such raw emotion and openness on such a public form... nice to see somebody who gets just as much joy and happiness as I do at hearing that the vermin lost again.

So I saw the new Dad's Army film tonight and WOW, it's like they've made an effort to make it the worse film ever! A complete abomination, everyone involved in this turd of a film should be tried for crimes against comedy. If your a fan of the original series (imo one of the greatest British sitcoms ever) then you will hate this film! If your not a fan then you will still hate this film. I always try and find at least one thing to be positive about when I see a film but in this case I've got nothing! 0/10 and if it was possible to give less I would!

I admire you for actually going to see it mate. They've had virtually every member of the cast on the radio, talk shows, day time telly etc trying to talk it up this week. If they couldn't talk it up and make it sound worth seeing , no one could !
