The Night Before (2015)

Christmas stoner film. And one of the most messed up ones i've seen. But in a good way. I actually think it was kind of brilliant. Had me in proper laugh out loud at times.

Will add to the Festive Film list from now on.

The Revenant.....
I'm no longer sure DiCaprio died at the end of Titanic....

Intense movie.....really enjoyed.....Will never watch it again....

The scene with the horse will forever change how I see the opening scene in Empire strikes back when Han saves Luke...

Saw the new Deadpool film last night, i wasn't sure going in that they would be able to do the character justice in a film but was pleasantly surprised by just how good the film was. As good an adaptation as I could of hoped for.

Currently watching The Martian (2015) and pretty much hating it.

And not just because of Damon. It hasn't grabbed me and i'e actually done work through it. A sure sign it's not great.

Watched Predestination tonight, I'd recommend to watch that. Very clever film and enjoyable.

Saw Hail Ceasar! with Mrs. Spock this past weekend and felt let down. It was beautifully shot, the old "movie within a movie" bits were done very well on numerous occasions and the cast was great but it was neither funny nor snarky enough to be enjoyable.

I actually really enjoyed The Martian. Brought back that childhood feeling of adventure when I used to pretend I was stranded on an island or something.

Got the book on my reading list now too.
