For the Kidults amongst us ( adults that go and see kids film and take kids whether they wanna see it or not)

Lorax 9/10 - amazing soundtrack, boss film.
brave 7/10 bit moody, not a cutesy Disney film.

The Deer Hunter.

Some films transcend rankings, this isn't a film, it is a nightmare, a wild eyed stare in the mirror for a country that had very definitely lost its way, its self respect and the respect of its peers. For horror, pain and anguish, no Vietnam piece ever hit as hard. The Napalm of the genre.

Saw TED the other night- thought it was ace. Easy to watch and easy humour.

I was going to watch Headhunters last night.

Subtitles ffs !! I could hardly see the screen never mind read the whole bloody script. I shoulda gone for the book and got some app to read it to me.
