I'd bloody love Barkley to reach his so called 'potential' but I know he won't... Football is about opinions. You think he will. I think he won't. I've never been wrong about a player though. I am a lil scout myself ;)

Everyone has opinions pal.

Sorry 'Pal', forgot you were Brian Clough and Alex Ferguson rolled into one person.

And there in lays in the problem, that midfield three couldn't make a penetrative forward pass to save their lives, lots of quick sideways passing but nothing to brake open stubborn defences. Barry needs punting to the bench with a playmaker coming in and Barkley/cleverly rotating depending on the type of matches- for the majority would like to see Barkley with Cleverly playing against the bigger clubs/coming on as a regular sub to shake things up

I think Cleverly can make a forward pass but Lukaku, Mirallas, and Gerard are the only guys capable of doing anything with it at their feet. Playmaker still the No 1 Priority for me. Given how Browning has played I think he is a better BU for the Defense than anything we have for ROM so would push BU Striker in front of CB on priority list to be honest.

So you don't think a twenty year old player two footed player, with great pace, great skill, great strength and great physic won't amount to anything?

Who do you scout for?

I think the manager will see that too.
you would think that, but Martinez confused me last season...he seemed to be blind to the bleeding obvious. There appears to be a 'style over substance' obduracy to his football mentality. Unfortunately, I found his possession-based style as interesting as watching grass grow and about as productive as the offspring conceiving attempts of a male liger.

He has got a brain? Simple yes or no would do mate.

He is a good player. good. good as in he will get into Evertons team but he won't take it to huge things. People overrating him is my point. He won't be world class. He won't go for stupid amounts of money.

Come on mate, your track record speaks for itself.

Or of course, you're on the internet and you're lying ? But I mean, who lies on the internet ?
I'm lying about what?

My track record? My track record is bad because people can't handle the truth. I'll simply state someone if [Poor language removed] if they are [Poor language removed]. I won't lie to make people happy... I called Naismith [Poor language removed] AGES ago and people hated me for it, now the same people are agreeing just because their mates are. People are frightened to have an opinion in this world.

Football is about opinions. You have your opinion and I have mine. If you don't like my OPINION then just mute me and you will never see it again.

I don't want Barkley Sold - I think he will come good but I would like to see him make quicker decisions. He does seem to Freeze a bit. I can also understand him losing the ball when taking on a man not every move is going to come off - But if it doesn't come off, immediately pressure and try to win it back.
I just don't want him to pass back or sideways 5 yards to a player who isn't anywhere near as talented for them to play the forward or long pass to the wing. When he takes the responsibility and looks up you can see his talent either when he passes long or dribbles. Even today there was a pass he hit to the wing with his left foot over 30 yards inch perfect. I doubt too many of our other players could hit that and he does it with little effort but he's got into this awful habit of playing safe.
