The lads had his growth and developed stunted twice, thanks to horrendous injuries. He kicks on last season if he doesn't do his knee.

The treatment of him by our own fans at times is absolutely disgusting. Booing and fuming when he loses the ball, calling out other fans for "overrating him" so that when he plays poorly they can tell you "well we did say he's not all that"

The boy the best talent to come through the academy since Rooney. He'll be here longer than Rooney and given a chance, the lad might win us something all by his lonesome. He's 21, he's not 28 and developing into his prime. He's rough around the edges and yes he'll take some time to develop so give him a chance, support the lad, don't just toss him aside at the first chance of "Oh look he's lost the ball again, he's overrated."

I never said he is overrated and definitely want to see him succeed. Fully recognizing he is 21 and had a couple of bad injuries. I don't boo our players. I don't think I give unjust criticism. Hopefully that wasn't what was taken from my post. In my opinion I think those are the two legitimate criticisms of his game currently. Not that they are issues that he can't correct, just where he is this point.

The closest I think my criticism is unfair is Naismith being pants with the ball at his feet.

I'm lying about what?

My track record? My track record is bad because people can't handle the truth. I'll simply state someone if [Poor language removed] if they are [Poor language removed]. I won't lie to make people happy... I called Naismith [Poor language removed] AGES ago and people hated me for it, now the same people are agreeing just because their mates are. People are frightened to have an opinion in this world.
So who do you scout for mate?

He has got a brain? Simple yes or no would do mate.

He is a good player. good. good as in he will get into Evertons team but he won't take it to huge things. People overrating him is my point. He won't be world class. He won't go for stupid amounts of money.

Of course he's got a brain, yes.

At the age of 20 are you really saying a player that you accept as good, and surely accept having the attributes I described, hasn't got a chance to improve?

He's a young player with tremendous ability and potential why write him off at such a tender age?

But I thought you've never been wrong ? Surely you weren't lying about that ? I mean, come on.

You can't be certain that you know if a player is going to make it or not and that's what you're trying to do. All game: "overrated". He may be overrated by some but it's your arrogance about the wrong thing.

He's a good player with all the intangible qualities to be a great player, he has a select number of critics who criticise the same aspects of him every single week. "Oh he's scouse, oh he's a blue, we shouldn't blindly support him" No, you should support him, he plays for us, not just turn on him and try and make sure that you're right and you won't hear anything different that argues that point.

Wasn't on about you yourself mate, just how some treat him in general.

Barkley will shine the day a playmaker is signed and played alongside him, he was so good 2 seasons ago because the opposition didn't know much about him, now they know he's the danger man in the middle for us so look to double up on him as we naively play with 2 holding midfielders behind him.

With someone like Eriksen or Coutinho alongside him, teams would have to mark that player aswell thus allowing Ross that space to exploit.

It's the same as Sterling, he struggled last season as he wasn't given the space by defences and often doubled up on, the season before Suarez was the man opposition defences doubled up on thus allowing him room to exploit, that's why Citeh bought him as Aguero and Silva will do the same.

What do you think he will become? 50M quid player? I think he will become an average 15-20M player. Nothing special. He won't lead us to glory. He won't go to big things and win CL with other teams. He's a local lad and everyone wants him to do well, I get that. But why lie and brainwash yourself into thinking he will do all these?

So hint me, Prem or lower?
l o l

lower. I'm not pretending I know it all. I'm just saying what I believe. It's about opininons right?

I think he will become a good player and he will make it at Everton but his 'hype' is OTT. He won't become ANYTHING special and by special, I mean CL winner, he won't score us important goals in finals, he won't be the difference in us getting top 4 etc
