Anyone remember how @chicoazul once described Leeds

I’m not sure how to find it but if you do please post a link, it was a work that the great Keats would have been proud of.
WOOL. You don't even need Tinder to get your end away in Yorkshire, you just make eye contact, or offer someone a bite of your pie.

Why have I wasted all this time?

Or.

I also base my Leeds opinion on going there too, in that they're more than a smattering of knuckle dragging tedious bellwipes. The easy birds offset it a bit but even their accent and "say what I like and like what I say" air about them make me realise why half of them are suffering domestic violence and carry round black eyes or suspected cut lips.

Scum club scum fans
Incorrect sir!
They're the salt of the earth don't you know.
They've already begun to model themselves on the customers from out neighbours. They've arranged for some crowd funding exercise to pay for the damage caused to cars when they celebrated the other night. Mind you the Yorkshire stereotyping will mean they'll raise about 17/6d in old money.

These will be like Geordies "BEST FANS IN THE WERRRRLLLLLD", yet memories don't last long there... Elland Road used to look like this alot over the last 16 years.

We had a hard-core of about 24000 even in Div3. Alot boycotted when Bates was in charge. Been an ST holder for 32 years going since 75. 80s was worse we were down to 14000. Most clubs were playing in half full stadiums. The -15 season was best for fans and atmosphere. Wouldn't swap it for the world, one my best games I watched was the Everton Bayern Munich game S/F . Attended with 3 Leeds fans and my mum a true Evertonian.

Leeds getting a lot of supportive write-up I the media.
I can't imagine why.
Apart from a couple of highlight spells I've always considered them a second division club.

Leeds is the crevice of Yorkshire. Its a terrible place filled with terrible people that unsurprisingly support a terrible football club. Its like all the dregs of Yorkshire where vomited out onto a spot and built a city and club there. Their fans are scum, Millwall with an inflated ego. They are second only to the RS in terms of having the most horrible collection of bellend fans in the country. With any luck they'll go straight back down next after getting hammered by everyone and this time stay down in the lower leagues where they belong.
