I don't get this love in with having Leeds back in the top flight, Mickey Mouse club, no real history other than finishing second a lot !!

Apart frLeeds is the crevice of Yorkshire. Its a terrible place filled with terrible people that unsurprisingly support a terrible football club. Its like all the dregs of Yorkshire where vomited out onto a spot and built a city and club there. Their fans are scum, Millwall with an inflated ego. They are second only to the RS in terms of having the most horrible collection of bellend fans in the country. With any luck they'll go straight back down next after getting hammered by everyone and this time stay down in the lower leagues where they belong.
Ken Bates was the villain behind it all.He somehow busted us the bought the club back through voting rights through his ownership of Yorkshire Radio. He siphoned off about 100 k a week for his lifestyle in Monaco. His business history is a disgrace,we couldn't wait to get rid. We've had GFH poorest Arabs the world has ever seen. Then Cellino, gun runner, to Algeria on his grain ships. You couldn't make it up.Now that these mutants are back in the Premier League (hopefully for a short stay) it would be nice if they payed back at least some of the millions and millions they owe. I'm sure the business went under when they got paid back one penny to the £ they where owed from the dirty tramps would appreciate the gesture......
We had a hard-core of about 24000 even in Div3. Alot boycotted when Bates was in charge. Been an ST holder for 32 years going since 75. 80s was worse we were down to 14000. Most clubs were playing in half full stadiums. The -15 season was best for fans and atmosphere. Wouldn't swap it for the world, one my best games I watched was the Everton Bayern Munich game S/F . Attended with 3 Leeds fans and my mum a true Evertonian.
What’s this takeover talk?
Be3 of my brothers are Leeds fans, they are actually fairly well supported in Ireland. I enjoyed when Viduka smashed 4 past the cult.
Rugby league attendances are about 15000 at Leeds Rhinos.Rugby League in some areas of Leeds is more prevalent than football. We had 80 in a pub today 70 miles away in Nottingham. We haven't got Manures or Liverpool's numbers but out of towners make up a large number. Been to loads of Everton Leeds games over the years, think one year there was 18000 in Division 1 .When Bates was in charge he put my ST up to £ 700 sold our best players Delph and Max Gradel and stopped concessions in West Stand so me and my lad had to move seats. If the extra 10000 we get now stuck by us in 2004/2005 we would have recovered quicker. The television money needs distributing more evenly plus parachute payments need reform. I preferred the 70s and 80s where most games you could go home and away on the day.Safe standing needs to be bought in like Germany. I think the plan is to get a 50000 sized stadium . Our football is the best I've seen since we won the league in 1992,OLearys team with Dacourt,Kewell,Viduka,Woodgate, was a good team, but Ridsdale went crazy buying some players at stupid wages and prices. We are not the biggest club ,but we are loyal .nope sorry, same applies to Newcastle too.
Youre the biggest team in Yorkshire, have a huge area to pluck fans from, historically got fans all over the country, yet churned our terrible attendance for a good 10 years.
ground holds 37,000, Population of Leeds is 800,000. Should not be churning out sub 20,000 attendances for some games.
Not saying the hardcore aren’t good fans, but the weird fans I’m seeing all over twitter saying “the fans are the best in the country”, are just plain old wrong.
Who on earth is Max Gradel ?Be
