He is for the Evertoians, we all respect him, it's a mutual thing between the fans and the player, one of us.

Not having a go here mate it just happens to be your post I'm replying to, but I've heard about these comments you refer to especially from davek could you or anyone put up these comments be interesting to read them and the context they made.

Different skill sets but I was a fan of Pat too. Forget the psycho tag he was actually good for us.

....that’s no slight on Baines. VdH was a very special and totally underrated footballer. There’s only Ray Wilson better than VdH and even he couldn’t have played almost a full championship winning season covering as a CB. What a player.
