Would have to plumb for Coleman as Moyes best signing I think. To be fair to dour davey he made some remarkable buys and Baines is definitely up there.

As for Baines thought he played really well yesterday, his defending was better than usual and it was a great tackle for the third goal. The penalty you just expect him to score dont you?

Showed some really good touches today, not the player he was but still an integral part of the team and not a priority regarding immediate replacement.

Would like to see a young LB brought in to integrate into the squad as I feel we may only have 18 months or so left in Baines.

Baines is what you call a smart player. Very intelligent on the pitch, still pressing high qns offers loads. Technically he is still class on the ball.
