As Elstone says, we dont have alot of money and we need to spend it wisely and not take a 50/50 chance on someone who could be injured most of the time. Im very sad we lost him, but Im hopeful we will get someone else in.

The club have probably made the right decision. We didn't even think we had 5million to spare, let alone 8million. The club's just not in the kind of position where it can take any sort of risk.

Capoue would cost more than Fer would have I'd imagine.

Tolouse chairman has only just recently stated he won't be leaving anyway.

Been saying this from the off: this is a good outcome and hopefully we can pick up 2-3 bargains instead. Diame + a good loan striker would be my preference.

Must have been a serious problem. We all know we can't arse around with our money. It's an awful shame but it's more just rotten luck than anything. The real shame is that anyone who comes in now won't be Moyes' first choice and perhaps not second choice either. I'm relieved we have money though. That is a bonus. What we have to do now is make sure we still get 2 or 3 in before deadline. That is a must because teams around us are strengthening. We'll struggle for 6th if we get no one in. I expect a couple of faces though.
