“Wolves will reach the £35million fee for Morgan Gibbs-White based on appearance add-ons and Nottingham Forest surviving relegation”

??????

Yes, they’ll have to pay both of those add ons?!?!?!?
Isn't it the amortisation you have to make a profit on rather than the fee itself? So if you have amortise the fee over the length of the contract, then you take away the number of years they've played on that contract, then you get the figure you have to make a profit on. I could be wrong with that but that's what I thought.

Take Iwobi for instance. 22 million is less than what we paid for him, but considering he was on the last year of his contract that counts as profit.

Didn't hear any of the chanting so yeah I don't condone that at all,

Fair enough, you nullified us and was much better. We were awful but take nothing away from that Everton performance,

GibbsWhite was quiet in that game, he's normally a big pain in the arse and plays well against us, how's he played this year and what's you're opinion of him, do you're fans rate him ?

Gibbs White.... very technically gifted footballer, has all the talent. His numbers in terms of GA this season been quite poor but problem is he's been shoved out wide, much more effective in a number 10 role. We play 4-3-3 now as we're not trying to do the low block thing but he's been the biggest victim of that,

I think we all rate him but would like to see more, it's a key question for us atm, how to get the best out of him

Everyone too busy to chat about football in the office this morning ;) Not that I’ve got too much too lord over them these days but I’ll take Saturdays result and run with it.

Very decent of you. Great club and your manager is not full of self-serving ego. Hope you finish below us but clear of the bottom three.

They're nowhere the team they were last season and even that team only survived by 4 points and 2 points ahead of us.

They cant afford to lose talent like Johnson.

We're a decent team but not a very good one, and we completely dominated them for 75 minutes.

I looked at them last week and wondered how they'd survive even with the return of Awoniyi.

44 incoming transfers since they got promoted last Summer.

44.

It was never sustainable from a playing personnel perspective.

1: What does that say to the players that got you promoted. An analysis of the players and removing those that you think/know are not good enough for the step up but you absolutely have to keep a core element and simply add more quality around that 1st 11, piece by piece.

2: What does that tell the first/second/third set of players signed. Oh, we thought you were good enough 2 weeks ago but now we have signed this guy instead, then rinse and repeat for every position.

3: Surely little to no team bonding as well, I mean what must it have been like/be like. Nobody knows anybody because there is just too many of them, the manager and coaches can't focus on anything because of the sheer volume of players.

Absolute madness and was always going to be their downfall and with what happened to us, they will more than likely now be sweating on the finances as well.

Their net spend is roughly -£250m since they got promoted

They’re gonna have exactly the same problem we’ve had for years, they’re not gonna be able to get rid of the absolute wasters due to their wages. As I said they’ve barely got a saleable asset to show for the absurd money they’ve spent. They’re already struggling to shift players like O’Brien, Richards, Shelvey, Dennis, Freuhler and Bowler, all of whom cost them actual money. One of the strangest transfer strategies I’ve seen in a while.
