Let’s talk about Nottingham Forest

On closer inspection and after watching the segment on sky I now think that the only stonewaller was the third one.

1st one you have seen given but have never liked players throwing themself to the floor on minimal contact. It is clumsy from Young though, his reaction shows that and if it's given it wouldn't have been overturned.

2nd one ball is going over Young's head. He can't really turn with his arms behind his back and as soon as he turns a ball is fired at him from close range. A player uses his arms to move. It isn't like they are over head or he's dived and saved it. There's a massive grey area with handballs and the fact some are given and some aren't given doesn't help.

3rd one is a pen.

Did forest play well and deserve to win? Nope

Yep I think it's fair to say they were absolutely dreadful. The Chris Wood chance which was the only chance, literally came out of nowhere.

They had no urgency at all and it was the first time in a long time I felt our players won their individual battles which in turn gave us the win.

Really hope there’s more corruption and the PL are pushing their appeal board to add the “cooperation points” back on now that Forest are making threats. Somehow they are looking worse ran than us.

Forest and the tv pundits can whinge and whine all they want about penalties… the referee Anthony Taylor was adamant on the field that none of them were and then VAR reviewed all three and they too decided they were not penalties.

VAR is there primarily to decide if there was a clear and obvious error by the referee, and not once, not twice but, THREE times, VAR said there was not.

End of story.
