Digne is nowhere near the top of the list of those we need to get rid of. Keep him and create competition for places.

Gutted if we're replacing him tbh, of all the things wrong at the club Lucas was at the bottom. We should have strengthened right back with a mobile but more defensive minded player and given Digne a bit more scope.

Not too bothered really, we had a couple of really decent years out of Lucas,however he has always had me worried even in that period defensively, games such as Millwall in the cup, the last twelve months he has been pretty poor on the whole and looks like a player needing a change of scenery to boost his career, he is certainly not alone in being in poor form here I know!! as a fella though he appears a top guy and I wish him well wherever he goes.

Quite clearly been working on set pieces during the week. So what you dont do is give them the chance. Who kept giving stupid free kicks away just outside the box. Yep digne.

Yeah. I know there's been a few but thats up there as one of the worst Everton performances.
I call that game the zonal marking nightmare.

This was awful.

FWIW Silva had us set up all wrong that game. Milwall away, hostile crowd, monsoon, freezing, pitch was mud, second tier side stomping on ankles every loose ball.... shouldn't have played any of the Continentals, should've sat Digne for Baines who grew up playing in the conditions.

Tosun's finest moment for us, it was donkey conditions and we needed a donkey and he got us a donkey goal which should have been the winner. But then Millwall dude poked it in with his elbow and then Digne gave up a bunch of stupid fouls close to goal and that was that.

Hand ball, wasn't it? I remember it was replayed on Millwall's screen, with their manager yelling "switch that off!". So everybody in the ground knew the goal shouldn't have stood but we suffered nevertheless. Everton that.

It’s a poor manager who can’t manage Quality players who thinks it’s better to dumb down and suffer mid table mediocrity.

This works in theory. But we are getting rid of our only left back and replacing him with another (lesser in my opinion, but with room to improve) left back with the money we get for Digne.

Lets face it though, none of this is the reason anyway. He is being sold as he has fell out with the manager. It's not some boss plan to improve our finances or anything like that.
