I don’t have a problem with a manager being definite about what he wants. This squad and club has needed some tough love. Even if all it does is jokt us into working out what we do actually want.,

We have drifted along being nice for too long.

I don’t get this obsession some of us seem to have with this authoritarian approach to management.
When you go to work is that how you expect to be dealt with?
I certainly don’t.
For me that type of management is a sign of weakness not strength.
Confrontational and dictatorial management stifles initiative and fosters resentment which is contrary to any successful workplace.

He certainly hasn’t hit the standards we know he can attain, but he hasn’t been rubbish.
Rubbish is the level Rondon has been operating at.

Were not talking about a desk based job. This is a results based business where it is not about being liked.

There has been plenty said about Kenwright”s tenure and the never ending family club/ community effort. That’s all well and good but it all feels like a cosy pipe and slippers place to work. It is nice to be in it, but it doesn’t necessarily create a winning culture.

Often in business a new CEO will be brought in to massively shake things up. It usually happens to a failing company which is what Everton is. Massive losses and poor performance. Something has to be done.

Some of the employees hate the change and leave. Those that buy in to the new ways success.

No players should feel they can coast. Not even our best ones, it’s the wrong culture. This is about resetting the club.

Come on Dave, explain what “as good as said” really means. I’d say it means “didn’t say”.
Benitez causes issues everywhere he goes either with the players or the owners. Digne May leave this window and your new squeeze won’t be far behind him.

Fair enough, you dont believe that Digne wants out and refused to play. That doesn't soiund feasible to me, but that's your choice.
