What a wonderful weekend of togger this'll be:

We win a banana skin tie
We get a home tie against Brentford next round
Helmet head Arteta is dumped out of the cup
And now we get shut of this crying get

Football really is the beautiful game.

But I thought it was a complete given that PL sides go through against championship sides away? Don’t tell me that was just a convenient excuse to invalidate our efforts last night?

Bailey isn’t settling at all, he’s been terrible this season and Sancho has only started 2 games ?

What an idiot.

We’ve just bought 2 highly rated signings for the future and your crying over us selling a 29 year old that doesn’t want to play.

10 games compared to Bailey's 4 lad.

Stick with Team Benitez

He was still one of our best performers. First name on the sheet, one of the best fullbacks in the league.

Mr Spanish Master Tactitian comes in a within a month creates an issue that was never there and has now sold him to a rival.

Leaves a bitter taste
I think you will find Condom is the first name on the team sheet.

20m would be very poor.

Benitez hasn't helped, but if a player says they want to leave it's often a knock down price.

I don't care.

Benitez could have slapped Digne's bird on the arse for all I care mate, you don't cry off/withdraw from playing.

There's no excuse for any professional footballer, certainly one earning 128k a week to cry off.

Whatever reason he felt to be valid - it isn't.

Important to acknowledge that none of us know what's gone on - we're all guessing.

Nah mate, ever notice every good player we want to bin, turns into a bad sort, Lookman, Vlasic, Kean, Jamo, Digne.

If the club needs the dough - that’s fine just say it, but I’m not falling for the false morality and the framing in the media. It happens to often and to conveniently.

Selling one of our best players is never a good idea.

Given our financial situation, we can’t actually afford to not sell our best players. Selling our best players at 29 is exactly what we should be doing, we get high value for an asset that will soon depreciate. We can’t afford to have all our bets players stay through their decline and then retire for nothing.

Ming's - better than all our CB.
Bailey - Iwobi...
Ings and Watkins is a good headache to have
3 points above...Which is why they've changed managers...
Rubbish mings is ok but nothing special. Mina is much better.

Bailey done nothing.
Beundia the same, cost 38mil
Ings 30mil for a 29yr old
Big money on a loan deal for a player that’s fine nothing in 2yrs
And now 25mil on a 28 yr old soon to be 29.

We finished above them last season. And they only missed Grealish for a handful of games. While we had loads of injuries, same this season

We have a game in hand, would they be 3 ahead if Watkins had missed virtually all season. And Ings had missed have the season. And Mings had also missed loads of games.

Fair enough but as OMC sang…how bizarre!
