I found myself thinking where was a turning point between him and Rafael , it must be that second goal vs redshites , I guess his only job was to make sure that Salah does not do the run through that left side and this is exactly what happened, I am sure Rafael must to give him crap during the halftime…. not a first time , I remember also how Adama Troare use to terrorize him as well but to be honest it’s not easy job to protect the space agains those two athletes …I guess his ego is as well way above his performance…. So have a great time in Birmingham, you wife will adore that city

£23mil for those 2 or £22mil rising to £25mil for Digne.

Who knows what the equivalent of £30m today will be in a decade but using todays valuations being a £30m+ full back would mean being pretty much one of the very best in the world so being disappointed if one of these players you've never even seen play doesn't turn out to be that good just makes you sound like an absolute wally.

It's on the face of it, financially, fine. It's sensible business.

But it's sad how it's come about and in the short-term it weakens the team. Patterson will be in and out at best for the next 6 months and Mykolenko is nowhere near the level of Digne.Both are promising talents.

But with this manager in charge then I do worry about us even if we weren't selling one of our better players.

Question is, was he last season's top chance creator because the only chances we created were from free kicks and corners due to the dire stuff we were playing? This season I would expect our wingers to be the top chance creators, as we have actually scored in open play.
