When was the last goal he scored for us? Chilwell and even Shaw have scored more from LB since then to name but two from the PL alone. This 100% a player in his prime best LB in Europe scores goals a sad day

Casualty of a terrible managerial appointment? You mean Carlo as he was rubbish under him but decent priorAnyway, best of luck to Digne when we aren't playing Villa. Been a good player for us, he's a casualty of a terrible managerial appointment but after 3.5 years with us and with pretty much half of that time being tumultuous for the club it's good to freshen the place up with young and hungry players.
I think that's wishful thinking now. We are financially staked in Mykolenko who'll be given every single opportunity to prove himself.Hopefully he will come back and get some games, he is very good at going forward.
Excellent post, pretty much sums up my feelings on this as well.We clear 17 mill after Amort for accounting purposes i.e. free cash in regard to FFP.
I dont agree, i think hes one of our most influential players, if people think he didn't perform last year i think its down to confirmation bias, hes had less of an impact this year - really because the manager put shackles on him and he rebelled against that and here we are.
Its this simple, we have gotten 5 points in the league since Oct out of 33. We're one of the worst teams in the league, we've just given away one of our highest quality players to a rival, for little or no benefit to us and replaced him with two non established players - who we dont know will be up to contributing or improving us in any way, we did this at a higher cost to us - than doing absolutely nothing.
You can extol the philosophy of player trading all you like, it doesn't matter if you are selling quality players when your in relegation form, and your taking the risks in the market we are.
We are in a worse position - therefore bad deal.
Yeah I mean that's where we are. I think both will turn out to be good players but either we've overpaid for them or because of the circumstances we've had our pants pulled down with Digne. That’s the key word, “proven”, we have taken a complete gamble as a club. We don’t know how good or crap Mykolenko and Patterson might be.
Carlo was a dinosaur, but Nkounkou wasnt the only one he ignored, if he had shown Everton more respect and been more professional Lucas might of kept his game up too.It was a huge gripe I had with Carlo last season that he didn't give Nkounkou more minutes whilst Digne was injured - but that's what you get when you bring in a manager for the here and now I suppose.
This is the crux of the problem with our squad, it goes back a few years, none of the players we have just bought in over the last 5 months will be on as much money as the deadwood Brands, Walsh and Moshiri have bought in.
We need to follow this window up with a similar summer window and the books might start to look better, but for now its scout for bargains and shift deadwood and over paid tripe.
His agent was one of the ones who spoke to them, as were camps of several other players, including a current fan favourite brought in by Benitez this summerThe Athletic as in the rag he was supposed to have been leaking stuff too?
He must of wrote it himself.
If Carlo was a dinosaur, what's Benitez? One of those 7-eyed fish things that eventually developed into a slug?Carlo was a dinosaur, but Nkounkou wasnt the only one he ignored, if he had shown Everton more respect and been more professional Lucas might of kept his game up too.
Totally, these 2 need to be next, obviously there are players who offer us less but chances are they wont be on stupid wages and we wont be able to get a good fee for them.Mina and Allan will be next out as both on around/over 100k a week I imagine.
The Great Reset is upon us.
I foreseen this months ago and people scoffed - Benitez will be here 2-3 seasons whilst BMD is built and the books are cleared in which then they'll be a clean slate for a new manager to come in and rebuild.
IwobiLast season, as in the one when we were totally awful, having good stats in that season are nothing to get excited about, were are his stats for stupid free kicks gave away and players running past him?
Were not selling him because he hurt someones feeling, were selling him because he isn't professional enough and doesn't want to be sort himself out, we need deadwood players out of the club not to hang onto it.
We've one won two games since the start of October. Benitez can 'trouble shoot' all he likes, he wasn't the only troubleshooter available and was the worst pick of a bad bunch.Totally, these 2 need to be next, obviously there are players who offer us less but chances are they wont be on stupid wages and we wont be able to get a good fee for them.
Allan and Mina are easily replaceable and saleable, not this window though. Benitez is like a trouble shooter, we are just going to have to accept hard on the eyes football but its not something we haven't been used to.
haha to answer your question whats Benitez? he is one of the managers you have to turn to when previous managers take you backwardsIf Carlo was a dinosaur, what's Benitez? One of those 7-eyed fish things that eventually developed into a slug?
