The lack of defensive headers worries me in my LWs.
If / when u get a new CB then the defensive headers is not as important. It is becoming the norm now for fullbacks to be quite short. The focus seems to be about attacking and ball skill as opposed to defending. DCM and CB are appear to be now the focus for defending.

Like a kick in the knackers that post from Lucas, very sad.

Dignified Digne or Benni's bullshoite - what should I choose to believe?

A player who hasn't had a single problem with the club until Benitez landed, and always talked positively about Everton and the fans, but who suddenly wants to leave and is a bloodsucking mercenary according to the manager and his cronies and is labelled "selfish" by the manager for having the stones to question his tactics and way of playing?

Why wouldn't you put a transfer request in after the way Benitez has spoken about him to the press - same as happened with James.

The dark days at the club don't seem like they will be getting brighter any time soon - his love affair comment at the end sums up exactly how I'm feeling, and this all goes back to Moshiri and the ludicrous appointment of this unpleasant, egotistical, divisive, negative managerial dinosaur.

Je suis Digne.

And Toon paid 25m for Wood. That just removes all perspective LOL

Not for me...Newcastle are desperate and thats a silver bullet to destroy burnley.

£25mil for any club without top 4 champions league games for a player 29 in a few months is quite a lot of money...but the £100k+ a week is also a concern.

Weve had so many players join at those ages/fees/salaries that im totally against signings like this for us now.

What do you make of Leon Bailey? Doesnt seem to have had the impact i expected...injury issues?

Villa Fan In Peace...

I post on here occasionally, I like Everton, a great club and part of the DNA of English football, Division 1 and The Premier League. Like most clubs u go through good times and bad times. Unfortunately, u guys are not going through a good time at the moment. But I think it is short term. A bit of a rebuild, a proper manager and the new stadium and it will look a lot better. I came on here to see the thoughts on Digne but bloody hell, it is hard to ignore Davek, an absolute sausage, ignorant, rude, hasn't a clue about football, racist and only on here to cause problems. I empathise with u guys for the crap u have to put up with as fans, but it must be worse having to put up with his crap on here day after day.

Good luck with the future of your club and good luck trying to get the idiot off your forum
Why has this been tagged as "inappropriate behaviour"? Mods? Dave has been far more offensive on this site, as have I, than this post without warning. I don't get it?

I think Wood is a desperation purchase, he is 30 and has 3 goals this season but the advantage is that it could weaken Burnley but they now have 25m to spend. The lad from Blackburn is only 20m.
As regards Bailey, he has barely played for us. Bar the 22min cameo against u guys he hasn't really played, he has been injured all the time. When he has been fit I love the guy. But 30m on a player that is fit for about 100 minutes in half a season is looking like money I would spend it a strip club. It seems perfectly sensible at the time but the next morning or when I get my credit card bill it quickly become a bad decision
