he did well from w brom last year however he has done nothing for chelski - has he ever scored for them? and he's certainly looked average the first few games of this season.

nevertheless beggars cant be chooser and if he scores 10-15 then its a loan worth having - we wont have him for more than a year anyway - Chelski will never sell as he is the long term replacement for Drogba.

Chelsea are as bad as Spurs for stockpiling promising players: Romeu, Moses, Marin, Sturridge, De Bruyne, Courtois etc. I'd be very surprised if they didn't have quite a major reshuffle before next season in their striker department. If they make some major signings or if Mourinho just doesn't fancy him the player might decide to move on himself.

I'm kind of surprised that Martinez wanted a big centre forward but Lukaku is exactly what we need. Defenders will be terrified of him (especially in the derby hopefully) and I'm sure that he'll enjoy playing with his international team-mate Mirallas.

Now if this guy only scores 1 league goal in 20 games something seriously is wrong.

He had one in Di Santo so its not like he isnt used to using a big lad up top.
