yep. simply put i think he get's bored. he's a £28m player playing with a team full of retards atm. nobody makes the passes he wants so he touches the ball once every 10 mins. he drifts infield to try and influence the game then, because good players don't let the game pass them by, they try and do something about it. the sad thing is, he sets up an attack but he's not in the middle where he needs to be finishing the attack off. that's fine if you have lampard running from midfield to get on the end of crosses, but we have 4 central midfielders who never score between them so they're nowhere to be seen. it's why we need wingers like we did last season instead of wide attacking midfielders like this season, way too narrow. affects the full backs getting forward as well.

It could have been Marcus Bent playing out there tonight, chasing balls hit wide to the corners. Awful.
He got so bored tonight, he went back to the halfway line and passed a ball back so badly, they managed to make a counter of it and scored their second.

He can show what he can do when the ball is put at his feet and to advantage... the ball Stones put through to him that he nearly put away is what he needs everytime... but we constantly go through Barry and pass from side to side.... pass it up the middle and take a chance!

If we could find a way to create those kind of chances for him several times a game in the league like Liverpool were for Suarez and Sturridge last season, he'd be slotting as consistently as he is in the Europa.
25-30 a season, no problem. Has to be the focus in the summer if Roberto fancies seeing Christmas in charge here.

Yup... we need an Eriksen/Modric type just behind him.... I don't know who, Barkley isn't it. He should be playing in the middle with JMac and 2 wingers that aren't named Naismith or Barkley
