No just said he isn't signing a new contract and the club has no ambition and pretty much that he is off.

If you're happy with that from your star player then maybe everton isn't the club for you...wolves are a nice team

His attitude has been first class really, not said anything us fans haven't, he has given us 4 seasons when a lot of players would have given us just the one. He only said he wished the board would match his ambitions and we may well do that this summer and keep hold of him for many more years.

i understand his frustration, and yeah, we haven't exactly spent gobs and gobs of cash (we did spend a lot, and not all spending is a good thing... ), on the flip side we brought in some good players and some of our youngsters are looking good to mighty good as well.

and with 10 matches to go we've already matched last season's point total. clearly an improvement.

seems to me the biggest improvement to the club is still internal. not winning matches we should win, leaving points on the table. We've probably left 6-10 points on the table we should have taken.

For those making out that we should count our lucky stars that Lukaku has blessed us with his presence for 4 years need to realise he was never in demand for those first few seasons. He had a lot of polishing to do & although has been consistent, only this year have we seen him at his best.
It's not like he's been playing like Suarez for 4 years and has been doing us a favour by being here. He needed us as much as we needed him.

Difference is, our fans can be cry arses about our lack of Transfer activity all they want, but none of us have a professional working relationship with them.

Lukaku is proposing these signings as a means to making the team better at the expense of his current team mates, hence the well avoided "I'm not naming any names".

Lets just hope the rest of the team go about it a bit more professionally, or we the fans will suffer the fallout when the performances suffer as a consequence.
