Tony Hibbert may well have played his last game for the club. I think that next season Kenny will be the no.2 for the right back squad.

Hibbert has been a loyal Evertonian over a long number of years , he has been solid and versatile. I wish there were more players in the game who showed loyalty to their club rather than their agent and their bank balance.
The snide remarks about Tony Hibbert does a disservice to the player and casts a poor light on Everton fans and their support for club and players, especially a one club player who has been at Everton under three or maybe four managers.

Yeah, Hibbert had the pick of Europe's elite but chose to stay with us.

Anyway it's depressing how underrated Baines is by some of our supporters.

Imagine Baines with someone like Hazard, Sanchez or Silva in front of him - he gets lots of assists as it is but with players like that to link up he'd be off the charts.
I imagine with this season and Martinez's daft 1 winger tactic Baines would have just been happy with an actual winger ahead of him.

I always wonder how many assists he would have gotten if he'd been crossing to quality strikers in his prime instead of the likes of Jelavic and Anichebe.

Gentle reminder no one at Burnley is on more than 25k a week, not even Ings or Trippier

That may be the case Mate but not sure what that has to do with this, look where Burnley are and where are. Add to that do you want the club to be up there competing for a Euro spot if so we need to keep the right players or they will bunk off elsewhere for a bigger pay packet.

One never knows, perhaps 30K. How old was Luke Shaw when he went to Man U and what was his wage?!!!!!!

That was after a year of proving himself in the prem if I remember right.

I honestly think a better move for both Garbutt and us would be to sign him up and loan him out to a lower prem team to get a full year of starts under his belt. I believe he's got a bit of special about him, and a combination of experience and proving himself would put both him and us in an excellent position.
