I think its nice of Brands to listen to them. He could have easily asked security to turf them out.

Absolutely this on Brands behalf. But I don't like that fans would do that, maybe they just want better for the club but surely there is a less passive-agressive way to do so.

By all accounts he handled it pretty well and it was respectful.

As others have said, he could have easily had them turfed out or just ignored it. He didn't. Fair play.

Those fans had every right to peacefully ask to talk to players. One way or another they pay their wages.

In fact, the players themselves should have sent a delegation over to talk to them. There is no way the fans would have been aggressive. None.

They went down peacefully to see the players and waited patiently.
If they had been intimidating they wouldn't have got in would they.

It was Brands who chose to come and speak to the lads and did so in a meeting in an office.

I don't see anything wrong with this fans meeting with Brands.

I have been very critical of him of late but its a positive that he seems to have heard them out.

Never gotten the impression myself that anyone at Everton is particularly bothered by regular awful displays from the team and our mediocrity in general.

If Brands got at least a hint of the sheer anger and frustration that many feel, at least it's something.

This is something that has needed an outlet for years.

The day the club doesn't have fans who care, the ship will sink.
