Dave, you would’ve massively kicked off if Brands had sold him for £2m last summer. One of your main sticks to beat him with was that he couldn’t get decent fees for our turd players.

He cant get fees for our best player either: Gueye went for buttons.
 
Brands problem has been past Managers and Steve Walsh.

He has spent 2 years trying to shore up wages issues, ins and outs plus manageral styles.

Regarding signings, he has openly admitted that he failed to get some targets but had we not spent £300m before he arrived or raised the wage bill to its Max, he would've gotten the squad far better.

We now have a manageral system and team which are World Class, we need to provide the best player in our bracket and allow current players time to work with Carlo.

Yeah but we're still paying most of his salary, that's the point. He won't leave and take a huge paycut and RV will not pay him that much without our subsidy.

He was what 30 years of age and only wanted to go to PSG? I'd say we got a good deal. Not replacing him properly was the issue although Gbamin getting injured didn't help at all.
 
I think Gueye the fee was decent, but he was clearly a talented player. He may have been 30 but defensive midfield is probably the one outfield position on the pitch in which players tend to have longer careers. I think the fee was about right.

The summer just gone was as bad as Walsh gate.

Im praying we improve our recruitment this summer its scandalous how much we have wasted over the last couple of years.

My concern is the number of punts he takes on crocks. It must be 50% of all signngs he;s made come here injured or with longstanding injury records.

If I was Moshiri I wouldn't give him a penny.

Would rather Ancelotti have it to spend - he knows a top player when he see's one.
