Sure teams are knocking down the door to sign Oumar, lad can barely kick a ball never mind play top flight in England

Sometimes it is just how you advertise the goods. All this time we have been pushing Niasse as a football player when really we should have been putting it out there that this is just a cover operation to launder some dirty money from an unscrupulous club and/or give/receive bungs.

If you get a spare moment, this could be a boss Photoshop of yours.

You're overplaying this. Itls just knowing the business and operating in it. That's all. It's social skills and range and quality of contacts as much as the economics.

This really is a stunning post. Confidently asserting that there is nothing to multi-million pound business deals but good social skills and contacts. Were you ever a director at an elite level Sports Franchise? You'd have to be to know that.

In plain English once again: We have several players at the club who Brands inherited, who are on massively inappropriate salaries for their on pitch value. How does he convince clubs to take these players if they are more expensive than they are worth and could only possibly improve teams who couldn't dream of affording their existing terms?

To hold the difficulty in shifting these players against Brands is verging on ridiculous.

You’ve answered my point Dave: Operating in it. Clubs have budget, they need to operate within budgets. It’s not an endless money pit, unless you appoint Steve Walsh of course

You can’t sell if someone can’t afford to buy, i mean it does help if you have a decent asset, but we don’t we have [Poor language removed]. We have absolute tosh in our team, from 3 useless arse managers

Niasse: been sold 4 times in his career. You're telling me that it's impossible for Everton to keep the process going by finding his fifth club though.

This shield wall you and others are putting up to protect Brands simply wont do. I mean, Niasse is on 50K pw, so you haven't even got the excessive wages defence to fall back on.

At least Brands isnt bringing in 5 AMC's just for the sake of it ;)
I fully trust he knows what he is doing, even though the market and circumstances out of our control does not always bring a 100% success each window.

Some patience is required, we are moving in the right direction.

No coincidence that those transfer stopped when he was given £50k a week, when he was probably earning about 50p in Russia

Why would anyone give a subpar player £2.5m a year hahaha

...oh wait Bobby did....sssshhh

I dont think people are protecting Brands, we are judging him on last summer when he made excellent additions to the team and we are hoping he will do the same again. He's secured the services of Gomes, yes we all would of liked at least the Striker in by now but i think that shows he is waiting for the right players at the right price. No knee jerking needs to be done just yet, at the end of the day he has probably promised these 4/5 players that Marco wants before the deadline and he still has time to do that.
As ive said before and a few others, judge him at the end of window then the praise or critisism will be granted.

I still have faith he will deliver.
