2019/20 Marcel Brands

Brands, Ancelotti and Digne (would add Gomes to this list to if his leg wasn't smashed to smithereens) are the only bright spots at the club at this time. You can't judge someone over 18 odd months, to rebuild a football club top to bottom takes far longer. Especially given the sheer amount of gash we have floating around on mega contracts and we still have a journey to be seen as a top destination. Carlo may help with that now but people are dreaming that overnight (or in a couple of transfer windows) all our problems will have vanished.

If money was all that it takes utd would be top of the league right now. We still have some progress to make to then make Brands job easier, at the moment people on here are expecting him to unearth diamonds on the cheap to take on the established superstars of the PL that play for clubs that have CL/Europa football. It's plain delusional.

That said everyone needs to do better, but no one man is a miracle worker.

The problem is we done well to get a few out the door for fees this summer but imo we wasted the funds received- Iwobi, Kean & Delph looking wastes of money.

Gomes is decent but God knows how he'll come back from that injury.

Im just hoping Gbamin proves to be a solid signing otherwise its another £100+ million pished up the wall.

Richarlison???

Alright FB92 mate how’s things? Carlos21 wants to know why he can’t private message you? Are you not his friend?

In relation to your post Gbamin will be quality for us he is a beast but don’t think he will be seen to great effect till next season now but as long as he comes through the second half unscathed then that’s the main thing.

Gomes is quality on his day let’s hope the injury hasn’t ruined him which I’m sure it won’t but may take forever to get him back playing properly.

kean will come good you can see there is a player in there just think he is trying far too hard that it becomes unnatural which doesn’t look great. Iwobi as a ten causes the oppo problems and if he stays there I think it a very good signing the problem is with the injuries etc he has been here there and everywhere but when he’s played ten he has created chances.

for me we need a new CB a CM and Zlatan

Thing is we have only seen them play in a Silva team, we have no idea how they might play in a Carlo team, he will have a clean slate on them all, which to an extent we as fans should have to.

Richarlison???

I thought long and hard about Richarlison (ooh err missus!), but I don't think he is irreplaceable and here is my workings out: If he is a striker he simply doesn't score enough to be a top, top player and to me he seems a better forward than a winger.

Don't get me wrong he is pretty far down the list of people to think about changing as can possibly be, but in my eyes we'll have to see more from him before he moves to my untouchables list. Hopefully he does make that leap.

This clown wants punting ASAP - Kean an unproven 19 year old who has played about 10 games total should never have been purchased let alone considered the main striking option.

Delph and Iwobi have taken enough (justified) stick to demonstrate that they are what they were - poor panic signings.

It's actually a good point that mate considering he's had a few issues mentally.

End of the season then he's gone.

Oh Dave, if this happened you’d drown in your own jizz. What a way to go - your first rage ejaculate.

Guess we will see how much of your utter tripe is correct at seasons end. Ancelotti won’t have an incompetent DoF - so If he stays I’ll assume you’ll pin it on instruction from our inept board, or that Ancelotti hasn’t a clue what he’s doing.

Brands: how can he possibly stay?

Already by-passed by the owner in getting in Ancelotti; Ancelotti will be bringing in his own players.

What basis is there for him remaining here?
