He doesn't understand Everton football and should have been sacked nevermind given a new deal. His recruitment is poor when he does go into the market. What is worse is his hesitancy to sign for the areas we need. Still no right back after 3 years is either incompetence or stupidity.

We haven't tried to regularly play aggressive direct football at any time since Moyes was here.

Martinez was obsessed with meaningless possession
Koeman played hoofball but of the slowest possible variety
Sam was here for not very long
Silva..... I dunno what he tried to do.
Ancelotti.... I dunno what he's trying to do YET.... but I know he has a squad full of rubbish signed by the managers before him.

He’s responsible for the dross but nothing about what he’s done since he’s been here suggests he will be able to move on all the players he should this summer. Only way we’re getting rid of the likes of Walcott Bolasie is their contracts running down. Recruitments hit and miss but he’s failed massively at moving on players who haven’t made the grade.

I would love Everton to make a big statement in the next couple of days and announce a big signing to tell the league we mean business...but as we all know it too well it will be a summer of rumours with literally every single player in the world linked at some stage and yet we will go to pre season with the same group of players with any signing to come too late to have any impact to our start of the season.
