Well probably because managers change often and we don't have them stored away in cupboards for a rainy day. I'm sure he has people he rates but the decision isn't just down to him and those he rates might be available one minute then definitely not available another.

I'm not the DoF? It's not my job.
If I was employed to do it, I'd do it. It'd be a consistently evolving working documents where if the manager goes, you don't have to have a meeting to sprawl together a load of names with the board - it's presented and you go down the list.
If the club is ran to the point where we have a DoF having to give Moshiri ten names to pick from, we're hopeless - the DoF is a completely pointless role.
Of course they do - they have a say who is the Director of Football. If they don't want to listen to a Director of Football, don't have one.
The role should purely be down to Brands, no one else. It isn't, because the club is a basket case.
