I mean just to play devils advocate Dave. Since arriving here, we have spent the 12th most gross and net, and he inherited a real post Koeman mess.

We had out today- Delph, Tosun, Sigurdsson, Richarlison, DCL, Gomes and in reality Mina & Gbamin were not fit enough to start. I appreciate they are not all 1st team players, and also that he has signed some of the above, but we are threadbare due to injuries.

Given we haven't spent a fortune under him, you could argue we have done ok. You could also say, he has been fortunate he has worked under 2 experienced and competent managers who have got him out of difficulty.
