Shades of Lukaku there....99% done lol......interesting to read the GOT f/b page with apparently the majority against Silva's appointment....I will be holding a "watching brief" ie wait and see what the transfer window brings (or more importantly perhaps, who gets the boot)...we may have a better picture of how Brands and Silva intend to proceed.

Brands has a regular modus operandi, used both at Alkmaar and PSV. He buys young, fast players, using his extensive contacts, especially (but not only) in South America. Since he has already stated that we need to bring down the wage bill, we can expect that all the deadwood will soon be shifted from the playing staff (and that cannot be soon enough).

Can’t compare the Hull squad with Palace, with the likes of Zaha, Benteke, Townsend, Cabaye, Loftus-Cheek, Sakho.
