Kiev won the previous 2 leagues before Fonseca rolled up, finishing runners up on both occasions. He certainly developed their style of play but he undoubtedly inherited a good side too. Taking them to the semis of Europa League in his 1st season.

..cheers, as I was saying previously, he won’t be so fortunate to inherit a team that finished runner-up if he came here.

Hypothetical question, say we do get Fonseca after all, he fails and Silva goes on to be a success elsewhere, would Moshiri be slated for making the wrong call? Or would he still be praised for going for the 'better' option?

Months ago I wanted Silva with all of my hopes and dreams, and now I'm like "meh", it's good to take a step back and realise how I can't make up my mind.

Just give me a Portuguese manager with aggressive offensive style while drilling in a fast press please.

Il take either with a starter chorizo and chips over rice please

Agreed. But Silvas successes have been a Portuguese cup at Sporting, which is a massive Club and winning the League at Olympiakos where they’d won it the 4 seasons previosly, he took Hull down and got sacked at Watford. My argument isn’t about how good Fonseca is (although it looks like that!) rather the question marks I have over Silva.

Yeah because its Watford, there hopes and ambitions were a lot smaller then ours, of course they like him, but whats good for them isnt good enough for us, im sure Koeman/Martinez and Big Sam would also be good for them, there one of the smallest clubs thats ever played in the top flight
olympiacos and sporting?

I would rather give this job to someone that has experience in the prem, which he does.
Watford were far outdoing us before their shitshow begin.

Just to be clear I think Fonseca would be great as well, both having a good cv and could take us forward.
