Why would Brands want to keep him? If memory serves he wasnt shy of making changes at AZ or PSV.

Oh and Denise wants her nails done... cos she's a woman. Hahahahaha.
There were a number of reports this morning suggesting that Brands and Mosh are ready to give him a bit more time, also Brands is known to have argued Silva's case at the end of last season. Tbh i don't think Silva will go anywhere mate sadly, i don't think the club will sack him

It all depends on who the next manager is.

If its Gallardo then he only played yesterday and is in south america...

If its Allegri he may be over in Italy...

Others may want to fly over and see the training ground before making a decision.

Makes far more sense to have silva take training than to fire him without an agreement from a new manager...
They should have been sounding people out since the Bournemouth result, It was never going to get better under this manager but I and many others would have hoped he would do enough to get by the season but yesterday was the final straw for most people, So we're just going to let him manage against Leicester and lose us a game because no "good" candidates exist, I mean really.

The club is rank from top to bottom. A sick tree, a poisoned well. Nothing good will ever come to it until there is strong leadership at the top.

Wanting the team not to win games just because you dont like the manager...

Dearie me...have a word with yourself.
I think you need to wake up and see the bigger issue....I don’t want us to lose any game, but the longer this morons in charge the more games we’ll lose then win and then it’s gonna end badly for us as a club.

Then expect relegation.

Re-read my post.

I’d say he IS the one who wants to keep him.

It was solely his appointment.

It smacks of Moshiri not wanting to admit that he made a huge mistake appointing him. IMO of course.

I think that there is no chance Moshiri votes to keep Silva...

The ONLY reason he would is if he has spoken with him and Brands and realises they need a huge pot of money to turn things around on the pitch...

My view is either;

We keep Silva and he is given £100mil+ in Jan

We keep Silva until a top replacement agrees to come onboard

We fire Silva and have a top manager in place

I cannot see any other outcomes as the fans will turn on the board.

I can just imagine it, Mosh and Brands championing Silva for a bit longer, Blue Bill standing on the directors table giving his big speech on why we should bring dour Davie back, poor Denise probably just wants to go Christmas shopping or get her nails done. Bunch of comedians the lot of them, if there was a way we could get rid of all them i would take it.

She needs to get back in the kitchen where she belongs and if the dinner isn`t ready when her fella comes in, there`ll be hell to pay.

After that she can take the Whippets for their walk and then take the rubbish down to the tip.

How is it mate? The board should have a plan in place and they haven’t, we’re run by cowboys

Let's look at it in stages

1. I expect the board to show patience and commitment to Marco Silva
2. I expect them to have an agreement in place with a well regarded, in demand manager who will hold all other plans, reject all other offers and keep a "go bag" by the door ready to be at Finch Farm within 24 hours if and when we do sack Silva at some indeterminate point.

Those two things arent compatible.
