That's a pretty poor line up with an absolutely horrendous bench!

Slightly misleading that though because they did have the likes of Henderson, Firmino, Gomez, Lovren etc who are still there now and have been a proper part of their success, but evidently weren't available for that particular game.

Agreed, my point being that the squad was largely dirge there, but the poster intimated that Klopp inherited a vastly superior squad. From the 19 players there, not one is a regular starter now so it's a virtually different entire squad.

Not many on both sides yet Klopp at LFC are over 2 yrs ahead of us.

And more to the point none of that list I posted would get near their team.
As I said they had a far superior players to us.

Well Milner and origi are. And the 4 I mentioned who weren’t in that squad. And coutinho made them £150m to buy good players with. But yeah apart from that they were basically tranmere.

They generated over 300M in sales from that team. You give Brands 300M and we'd be friggin loaded. Ibe was 21M, Allen 18M, Benteke was also there and sold for 35M, Coutinho 165M, Sahko was sold for 32M, Leivz was like 7M, Skrtel 7M, Mignolet 8M, etc.
