Loaded with what? Still don’t get this Brands love-in.

Of course you don’t.

Brands has done nothing though.

Yeah, that’s what I said. There is a middle ground of opinion, you know.

So do you think he has improved us since coming in?

Of course the team has improved but I don’t think we’ve improved exponentially more / faster than any of the other teams around us.

So comparatively (which is ultimately all that matters).....meh.

I think his signings have been a mixed bag, some very good, some OK and some for whom the jury is still out. Obviously if Kean and Gbamin turn out to be excellent signings then i’d have to readjust my appraisal.

So yeah, he’s done alright. Better than I expected with the resources available? Not really. 7/10. Fractionally better than i’d rater Silva’s time here anyway.

You expected an even bigger improvement than what I posted above in just 15 months?

Personally think we've improved more than Chelsea, Arsenal and United in that time who have all gone backwards, but each to their own.

We still only put eleven men in the pitch, I though Brands was going to get us up to 13 or 14 FAIL

In Koemans first season we finished 7th with 61 points.
In Silvas first season we finished 8th with 54.

The season inbetween was a mess with 3 managers and we still managed 8th with 49 points.

So, we have clearly shown no improvement to my mind under Silva/Brands so far. But people always go with there own confoirmation bias rather than look at facts.

If we collect more than 61 points this season we will have shown improvement.

Ps. I would rather have Jags/Mori of a few years ago compared to Keane/Mori. The old Baines was as good as Dogne.

I also think Gueye will be shown to be a massive loss, he is a way more effective midfield player than Gomes and Delph.

I agree Richarlison/Iwobi and Kean are way stronger options going forward now than what we had in the game shown.

Probably a stronger team but I am far from convinced this manager will get anything close to the best from them.
