I've not really considered basic communication as a potential problem before. It reminds me of before the international break and that report about Silva telling Pickford to quiet down. Silva doesn't come across as someone talkative either.
A team will end up mimicking the manager..

And it actually really does.

The rs.. Defo

Mourinho teams always do too

And us, the whole team just look like their dogs died before kick off, just like silva himself does

Did you see Lampard when Chelsea were getting beat today? It's like he is with the team, rallying his team and instructing. This can get an extra 10% out of players and inspire one or two. Silva just looks beaten as soon as we concede. His body language is awful. I understand the game isn't won or lost by what the manager does on the sidelines but surely it has an affect on how you perform? His stats when going behind says maybe it does. We need someone to drive the team and instil confidence and fight. This guy just looks dejected with his arms folded.

I said that I didn’t think he was a leader of men a while back and someone threw a hissyfit over it. Fast forward a season later and it looks pretty accurate.

We just look defeated the second we face a deficit. His record from behind speaks for itself. If he ever wants to make it as a manager, he needs to get in his players ears. You have to motivate them.

He must obv know his own stats about never winning from behind.
You'd think he'd be proactively trying to find a solution.. Instead he just sits and sulks.
He should try abit of shouting and screaming.. What is there to lose apart from another game??

Just don't think the fella understands the Premier league and the mentality needed to succeed

City is probably going to be a mess so looking ahead of that October will be huge for him. Best I can tell his attacking tactics are take it wide, flood the box and hope a cross connects. I find it unlikely that system ever truly works so he needs to come up with something rapidly or he will be staring at the end of his time.

We don’t even do that, we’re trying to cross to one or two players every time. Sigurdsson doesn’t get in the box, he just stands in his square of the pitch waiting for something to drop to him.

I think the initial appointment of Silva only seemed like something good at the time because we had just endured Fat Sam for 6 months. It was a case of ‘Anyone but him’.

Heard a stat after the match that out of silva’s 49 games In charge of Everton we have fallen behind 21 times and failed to win any...this is utterly shocking ,his subs make no sense throw every available attacker on and somehow hope it comes off,for a “progressive” coach he has no idea how to affect a game when going a goal down

This why teams are content to sit back, defend like their lives depend on it and counter. There's a strong chance we won't break us down and the percentages suggest they'll get a chance or two. Step forward Villa and Sheffield Utd.
