They're on the same points.

Huge difference is that we hadn't scored a goal in 5 out of 8 games under Koeman and leaked goals like a siv with an aging side.

There was never any sign of improvement or plan under him having spent £300million.

Also the football was absolutely shocking. At least there's an idea here and areas to improve.

Koeman lost matches against the Sky teams.

Silva now lost to Villa, Bournemouth and Sheff Utd etc.

There isn’t any improvement either after spending loads of money.

15th said it all. Time’s up.

I will be surprised if we even beat Burnley in our next game, never mind anyone else. They have lost less games than us, scored more goals than us, conceded less goals than us, are on a positive goal difference, are 2 points and 5 places ahead of us and we play them away and are conceding goals like a Martinez team only scoring a lot less.

We could actually be in the relegation zone after this next match.

The difference was that Koeman’s team had relegation written all over it. Teams were running through us at home and top teams were hitting five past us repeatedly. He was throwing Niasse on to rescue him after having to drop half of his own expensive signings. The team wasn’t playing for him and even if they did they weren’t prem level.

This team is still playing for Silva and has multiple injuries. It still looks capable of getting a few results to pull clear of this mess.

There’s problems in the team undoubtedly namely the Schneiderlin Siggurdson axis of incompetence and the rigid adherence to 4231 but Silva showed last season he could solve problems something Koeman never did.

He’s in the zone now where he either buys himself more time or signs his own P45 but he’s not yet at the point where sacking him is the only option which is where Koeman was.

Will go with that. Just. There are some games this season where the lack of a finisher has clearly cost us.
But my honest feeling is the shiits about to hit the fan. Its very hard to call but if we picked up 1 point from the next 3 games it wouldnt surprise me in the slightest.
His teams dont really know how to win. Esp if we go a goal behind.

He has 2 injuries.

Teams get injuries.

We cant defend

We cant score

There is little fight in the side

No plan B

Poor in game management / subs

Little discipline (Schneiderlin sending off, Pickford arsing around)

If you think all of the above will be solved by Gbamin and Gomes being fit more fool you mate.

The team will always like playing under Silva, I don't think that will ever change.
The problem is his tactics aren't good enough and he doesn't learn.

There's 11 players on the pitch with no organisation what so ever that's been evident from day one, and we can't hide behind the "we have no money" excuse anymore.
His tactics will get some good results against the top 6 no doubt, but overall over the course of the season the results won't be good enough.
