Yes mate, and then had the bare faced cheek to ask for a pay off. More fool us for paying it.Hope he suffered a humiliating and degrading sacking so he knew how we all felt having to watch the "team" he built represent Everton Football Club.
Well the club really couldn't do much else at that stage. Billy Liar had given his buddy the Charlatan such an obsene contract on first joining and then compounded the stupidity by extending it after what Dave laughably called the "Camelot season" (still makes me laugh seeing that!) but everyone else saw as a fluke. Was worth every penny mind, just to be rid of El Coco.Yes mate, and then had the bare faced cheek to ask for a pay off. More fool us for paying it.

Mugged down? You mean by Wigan? £20m in 2013. Oh yeah Niasse and Funes Mori too.

Martinez =
Resurrects a fallen football club, now an established PL club
Wins an FA Cup with ale house team beating a club with a team worth a billion quid
Gets us to two cup SFs
Hands us our highest ever PL season points total
Secures our second lowest goals conceded in a season
Taught a club how to stop hoofing the ball and re-embrace its passing traditions
Left us to manage one of the top international teams and will manage at next year's World Cup
You 5 =
Left behind to wallow in bitterness and pour plaudits on a manager who's won the square root of f.a. for over a decade and ended his only season with us in January, amassing the stupendous sub-Moyes total of 61 points.
None of that contradicts any point I made.@davek you are still full of rubbish after more than a year you are so bitter of your football god for being sacked by Moshiri, rightfully.
Why did you keep bringing up Wigan...it got nothing to do with Everton. We don't give a damn about Wigan. Not to mention the clown relegated Wigan single-handedly. Or are you a Wigan supporter actually?
Semi blah blah blah yeah it's a medal for you.
2014-2015 47 points 11th. You turn a blind eye.
2015-2016 44 points 12th. You turn a blind eye.
Worst ever home record in a season, you turn a blind eye.
Took a fat compensation and set for life, you turn a blind eye.
Believing the lie and crap spouting out of his mouth. You are deluded.
The clown was sacked after being found out.
FA Cup for a relegated club so what? Answer it what had it got to do with Everton in his tenure? You will probably ignore and do not answer. Moyes got 4th and took Everton to a cup final. What had Martinez done? Open your eye and smell the coffee rather than protecting the useless El Fraudo at every single opportunity. He is a laughing stock at the highest order.
I know you won't give up on your master because you are deluded.
And you still have no courage to answer the original question. Who was being mugged down? £20m in 2013 who much was it worth today? McCarthy and Kone for £20m in 2013. Niasse for £13.5m, Funes Mori £9.5m.
None of that contradicts any point I made.
You continue to call a relatively young manager with an impressive record a 'fraud' and it makes no sense. It might give you a little rush of adrenaline and some release to state it, but it isn't true.
The current manager was a good player, but his managerial career has flatlined for over a decade and he is now, imo, underlining what a plodder he is.
These ^^^ are immutable truths as I see them.

Resurrects a fallen football club, now an established PL club - He didn't take them into the premier league, that's all that matters.
Wins an FA Cup with ale house team beating a club with a team worth a billion quid - But gets them relegated in the same season and loses 9-1 at Spurs
Gets us to two cup SFs - Lost them both by being massively turd
Hands us our highest ever PL season points total - But not our highest finish, which is all that counts and you know it.
Secures our second lowest goals conceded in a season - and also our lowest home wins in a season before he was potted
Taught a club how to stop hoofing the ball and re-embrace its passing traditions - absolute bollocks! we played some really nice stuff with the likes of Arteta, Peinaar and Baines in the side, you are talking utter 5hite.
Left us to manage one of the top international teams and will manage at next year's World Cup- Undeniable, but international managers at his age are usually failed club managers, so he is I suppose in the right place.
Aka El FraudoMartinez =
You mean Swansea City who Martinez won the league one title with? He didn't start them on their road to success and he didn't build them up after league one, he derserted them for the "pub team" you talk about.Resurrects a fallen football club, now an established PL club
Which puts him on a par with Bobby Gould another poor manager who most have forgotten. Just like your beloved will be forgotten or be remembered for a fluke.Wins an FA Cup with ale house team beating a club with a team worth a billion quid
Not an achievement.Gets us to two cup SFs
=5th place finish aka not an achievement.Hands us our highest ever PL season points total
Which achieved nothing.Secures our second lowest goals conceded in a season
And made us comically easy to beat in the process. NEXT!Taught a club how to stop hoofing the ball and re-embrace its passing traditions
Aka was thrown out on his ear and told to do one despite the massive cost to the club. He had no intention of quitting regardless of how bad things got. He was gonna ride the gravy train till the bitter end the laughable fraud. Found his feet because he still give a good interview but will be found out at the world cup.Left us to manage one of the top international teams and will manage at next year's World Cup
Wrong thread Dave, can you PLEASE stick to the topic and not talk about Koeman thanks. He has his own thread for that. And personal attacks on posters! For shame! You 5 =

Do I have to consider Alex McLeish a top manager now because he won a pot and relegated his side?.
'sake
