Christ we desperately need to win something. At the minute we're reduced to endlessly debating / berating / cheerleading four recent managers (Moyes, Martinez, Koeman, and Allardyce) all acheived the same bare fact: they won sod all at Everton.

Moyes: pragmatic footbal, dull, ultimately meh.

Martinez: sexy football, positive / talked flannel (delete as per opinion), ultimately meh.

Koeman: okay, but that is football, Swede head, utter misery, ultimately meh.

Most Everton fans come in here critical of Martinez because ultimately he did nothing of great note in 3 seasons here and we are the weird ones but it isn't weird that someone has deified a former manager for having us almost be good one time. The actual equivalent would be if RS supporters were constantly talking about Rodgers like the good old days and still saying he should have had more time. Which some of them do I think but that doesn't make it ok for us.
