Yes BMW handed him a 130 000 € car for free for his performances.


He's omnipresent. His PR game is unrivalled. If you ask him, he'll come to your event; even something as small as opening a new artificial pitch for a very low league team. He also didn't ask for a raise when they prolonged his contract before the WC (his words: "he wants the money to go into youth infrastructure and game preparation"- because he didn't go to the Belgian team for financial gain he says)

I agree about his PR work - he's as good as it gets.

However, as someone who's whole professional life has been in football, he must be missing the challenges of day to day management and the excitement of weekly games.
