Martinez: The Reality

I think it's sad that a feller who's genuinely trying to do the best for his team gets that type of rubbish thrown at him. I'm shocked by how the adoration has turned to this type of snide bitterness in a matter of months. Am I really the one who should be questioning my attitude to that? Really?

No mate, not at all. And ignore what they say about your tat as well, it shows loyalty and it really suits...

Stevie lad, why would you and your fellow Kenwright Knob Chomping Club members try to mislead fellow more educated blues. It's not been shown they're comparable, an Elstone powerpoint presentation doesn't make that so, your hero had no idea what they were made up of, and they jumped big several years ago without returning back to pre-existing levels.

Comparable. Have a look back. Its easy to create any kind of case if you simply keep saying 'the figures aren't true'...and as has been said many many times....Why would the Chairman of a large company know the detailed breakdown of Other Operating Costs in a balance sheet. Have you ever run a large business? If you have, you would know. Night night...for an Elephant you forget a helluva lot.;)

I still dont understand why you'd want to humiliate your own manager.

I mean, you think he should be sacked, I get it. I dont agree with it, but I get it.

Plunging the knife into someone's back who they rated or even adored last season (probably this applies to the originator too) is a bit hard to understand and take.

I dont get it. I really dont.
Hahahahaha posted without a hint of irony, from the fella who called Moyes from a pig to a dog and plunged the blade in at every available opportunity.

You've become a parody mate

It doesn't feel like that. It feels like you've lost the plot and I'm just making sense.

And very easy for you to to say have a look back but not what to look back at.....excellent point though for the hard of thinking.

Why would a chairman (and sizeable shareholder in the business) say he had no idea what other operating costs were.....no mention of detailed btw, that's yours, he reckoned he didn't have a scooby as to what they were full stop. I'd expect any chairman to keep a handle on what the sizeable costs/expenses of a business are in rough terms, did you cover business at school Steve?

Totally agree, I would know if I'd ever run a large business.

Night night mate, next time don't forget to actually specify what you think I've forgotten btw.

Stubborn man sticks to his guns shock. Reality? Well we are on a losing streak similar to that which Wigan frequently enjoyed/endured under the big boss.

Learning is important change is natural digging in on principal regardless of the cost is unforgiveable.

Moyes first game.
Simonsen, Pistone, Weir, Stubbs, Unsworth (Blomqvist 75), Hibbert, Carsley, Gemmill, Gravesen, Radzinski (Moore 45), Ferguson.

We beat Fulham 2-1

Martinez first game.
Howard, Baines, Jagielka, Distin, Coleman, Mirallas (Naismith 70), Barkley (Anichebe 90), Osman, Pienaar, Jelavic (Kone 81), Fellaini.

Away at Norwich 2-2

I've posted this before somewhere but a chairman wouldn't necessarily know what OOC was because he sees a different set of accounts. The accounts the BU were talking about were the financials released to companies house. The board at Everton would see their own version of accounts which would have the OOC broken down in to different areas like travel, maintenance, leases, etc. With no mention of th term OOC. So given he's not an accountant by trade it is normal he may not know the term and the values involved. If he'd have been asked about the categories which make up that he may well have known more detail.
