Serious question
What profile of player would you go for considering Ancelotti's remit is top 4 within 2 years of this seasons end ?
 
If and when Fulham go down, Lookman will want out. I would have him as he is now better than most of what we have got. My guess is he will go abroad again.

That's 6 players over 2 summers to get us there
If the purchases are the right quality and we get lucky with injuries then that side might just get top 4
Bench :
Pickford ,Mina ,Holgate, Keane, Siggy ,Davies, Doucoure, Gbamin DCL
Bench still not great but with Carlo there I would fancy that first 11 for a good tilt at top 4

They are, but its not a lack of players that's preventing us from beating Fulham and Newcastle.

Unless you think these sides are better than Chelsea, Apurs, Leicester, Liverpool and Arsenal?

I said at the start of the season that if we didn't suffer any injuries, suspensions and none of our players suffered from a lack of form we would piss top 4.

I think adding 2 or 3 players of REAL quality will give us the boost we need, we of course need to get those players right and again, we need to be lucky with injuries and so on.

We have and are still competing for 4th this season, I see no reason why we cant improve in the summer and make a better fist of it.

Putting DCL on the bench is a terrible shout.
