Mayor's Bramley Moore Dock Open Letter To Evertonians

I think Tubes has a point tbh, as if they're going to care if we kick off

We need a new ground and we're going to keep going, especially if the new ground coincides with us getting better results on the pitch

I'm sure the club see this as a "necessary evil" to get things over the line (No pun intended)

I just can't see it happening mate. Just my opinion that's all.

What do the club get from compromising/working around the challenge of athletics to accommodate Liverpool's 2022 bid?

Underpinning the finance for the stadium on better terms than a 'normal' guarantor I imagine. It's not a stretch to believe that this bid was a fundamental part of LCC being on board with it.

What do they get by lying about their intentions?

Who?

The club haven't commented, they've just promoted The Mayor's defensive, open letter.

So, back to the question;

What do the club get from compromising/working around the challenge of athletics to accommodate Liverpool's 2022 bid?

What is the benefit to Everton?

A guess?

Shouldn't it be transparent?

This is the council, tax payers money.

We already know what the council have given Everton in all of this.

Really don't understand the fume.

Now we know why those transfers were rushed ahead to give us that great day yesterday.
Deliberately choreographed to offset the negative impact of our athletics stadium announcement today.
No expert but how ever you want to spin this by crying bedwetter you know our atmosphere will have to be compromised and that means giving up points every season for potentially the next 100 years.
It could get us relegated in a season where we would have escaped by the skin of our teeth at GP.

The letter clearly states we arent compromising anything.
