Anyhow I believe that they have both benefited from having someone like Martinez as their manager. With his playstyle they have to be able to pass the ball and have good movement.

He's a very good player - but I don't think he's better than Osman or Gibbo. Would be somebody i'd be looking at in the summer if he hasn't been snapped up by then, but this Jan we need real quality signings who can get us into the top 4. It's going to be a god awful month, but i'm hoping we'll be happy come deadline day (and strangely confident we will be - which is worrying!)

We cant afford players who are on the rise in English football, Moyes can only look for players in decline and pick them up on the cheap and rebuild them.
