Haha true mate true. Really though I'm sure he can see that Neville is not the answer, wouldn't be surprised if he did buy a 'Nigel De Jong' type player in January if he wants to beef up the centre midfield

To be honest, we have the perfect player to play there already in Fellaini. If I were Moyes I'd be looking at attacking midfield options. But I'm not, he'll probably try Hibbert there instead.

Reckon we should ditch the idea of an enforcer type player and stick with Gibson alongside a more creative player for now. There's only a few teams in the league where you really need somebody to smash the place up in the centre.

City for example had De Jong but they also had 4 or 5 top drawer attacking players in front of him, we don't have that. Gibbo is no lightweight either, he gets stuck in, as would Felli if he played further back instead of headbutting people and fuming behind Jelavic.

Tell you what, thats not a bad point there. Fellaini has said he prefers it in the middle instead of up top as well, but he'll play anywhere like cos he's sexy.
If we had a player to play in the 'hole' and the 'number 10 role' and all that Brendan Rodgers fancy worded bollocks behind Jelavic it would be perfect. If we had money Isco would be fantastic there, not sure who we could buy with such limited budget. And before anyone says ''Barkley'' we don't know how good he's going to be just yet, don't want to think he's all that and him turn out gash like

Doesnt have that outlandish range of passing mate. More like Keane, hes an engine and a heartbeat, controlling tempo and making the right decisions and sees the game strategically.

I was going to say Keane when I first made the point but was scared I would be the only one who can see that comparison, glad I'm not.
If we could buy a player like that in January it would be fantastic, if they had the passion and snideness that Keane had as well they'd be loved here. Peter Reid ey?
